LEGAL PRACTICE - LEGAL FINANCE MANGER

We are working with a progressive law firm in North London to recruit a Legal Practice Manager or a Legal Finance Manager (on-site).
This role can be the Practice Manager for someone with previous legal finance and practice management experience or the Legal Finance Manger for someone with legal finance experience.
The role will include:
Finance:
Managin a small team
Preparing monthly management accounts
Preparing reports for year end accounts, balance sheet reconciliation & liaising with external accountant
General bookkeeping using systems Proclaim
Payroll management
Reconciling and filing Quarterly VAT returns
Daily bank reconciliation of the client and office accounts
Client month end account reconciliation
Reconciliation of funding loan
Preparing cashflow, budget & forecast on weekly/monthly basis
Assigning and reviewing targets for Credit Control
Overseeing sales ledger and purchase ledger control & payment runs
Practice Manager (includes all of the Finance tasks):
HR management – employment contracts, onboarding and absence mgmt.
Practicing certificate renewals
PI Insurance renewals
Liaising with other departments
Liaising with suppliers such as Bank, Payroll, Counsel, insurers and all suppliers
You will be someone who is hands-on, a solution finder, professional and be able to multi-task.
Salary:
Legal Finance Manager up to £50,0000
Practice Manager up to £65,000

Working for a multi office law firm, with the role being based in their North London office, hybrid working available. This is a full time role, working in a small team. Dealing with the day to day transactions, banking, checking completion statements, billing and purchase ledger.

You must have SRA Accounts Rules knowledge, have a keen eye for detail and be enthusiastic. You will have the opportunity to grow.

SOLE LEGAL CASHIER

We are seeking an experienced Legal Cashier based in London. The role is full time and will include; processing the day to day transactions, bank reconciliations, raising invoices, purchase ledger processing, legal aid, dealing with all aspects of payroll and monthly reporting.
This is a varied role with training provided, but you must have previous legal cashiering, legal aid and SRA Accounts Rules experience to be considered for this role.
